Chordelio terms of use
Last updated: 2026-10-06
Chordelio is a chord dictionary made by Tekartik, in France. By using the app, on Android, iPhone, iPad or the web, you agree to the terms below.
The service
Chordelio shows chord positions, fingerings and sounds for the instruments and tunings it lists. It is free, supported by ads in the Android and iPhone apps, provided as is, and may change, pause or stop at any time. The chords are given in good faith and checked with care, without any guarantee: a position may be missing, unusual or wrong.
The ad-free subscription
Remove ads, in the settings of the Android and iPhone apps, is an optional subscription that removes the ads. It adds no other feature.
- It lasts a year and renews automatically for another year unless you turn auto-renewal off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- The price is the one your store shows before you confirm; it is charged to your store account when you confirm, then at each renewal.
- You can manage and cancel the subscription at any time in your store's settings; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and the ads come back then.
- Refunds follow the rules of the store you bought from.
- The subscription belongs to your store account: on a new device signed in with the same account, the purchase is restored. A subscription bought on Google Play does not remove the ads on an iPhone, nor the reverse.
On Android
The subscription is sold and billed by Google Play, under its terms. Manage or cancel it in Google Play, Payments and subscriptions: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
On iPhone and iPad
The subscription is sold and billed by Apple, to your Apple Account, under the App Store's terms. Manage or cancel it in Settings, your name, Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. For the app downloaded from the App Store, Apple's standard license agreement applies as well: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
Privacy
What Chordelio keeps, and what the ads and the subscription use, is described in the privacy policy.
Liability
To the extent the law allows it, Tekartik is not liable for any loss coming from the use of Chordelio or from its unavailability.
Changes
These terms may change as the app evolves; the date above says when they last changed. The current version is always the one published here.
